Dr. Molly Gearin

Director of Training, PT, DPT, CSCS

Dr. Gearin graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2022 and undergraduate degree in Pre-Physical Therapy in 2019, both from the University of Dayton. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and certified in Dry Needling I through Myopain Seminars. She has personal experience in the areas of gymnastics, rowing, and track & field. Molly was a member of the UD Women’s NCAA Div I Rowing Team and Club Gymnastics teams in college. As of 2024, Molly is the Director of Training at Orion, coordinating all training programs and communications.

Molly began at Orion while in undergrad in 2016, working as an aide and then strength coach, and was fortunate to work alongside Dr. Phil Anloague in her final rotation in her doctoral program. During this time, she developed a keen interest in human performance, especially in the areas of return to sport, the female athlete, application of strength and conditioning principles, and manual therapy techniques. Dr. Gearin is also an adjunct faculty at the University of Dayton in their undergraduate Kinesiology laboratory.

In her free time, Molly enjoys training for triathlons, spending time with her friends and family in Cincinnati, and following her favorite gymnastics, baseball, and football teams.
